De Jerden
The GD’24 will be located at Recreatiepark De Jerden, located in the province of Friesland near the town Sloten. A special plot on the park will be dedicated to all impers attending the GD’24 and bringing a tent, caravan or campervan. A large tent will be set up at the field to function as central gathering area (and the dinners and other activities will be hosted there).
De Jerden is a campsite located next to the canal “Slotergat” close by the lake ‘Slotermeer’. This attracts a lot of watersport tourists who use De Jerden as home base.
The campsite is open to both caravans, campervans and tents, and they welcome pets as well. There are all kinds of facilities; nice toilets and showers, electricity, rental options for bikes, canoes and sloops, and a small restaurant.
Unfortunately the venue does not offer accomodations at the moment, they’re building an holiday home for 6 persons, however it’s unclear whether or not it will be finished on time.
